The Pegasus arc was certainly explosive, I found it to be such an emotional roller-coaster. And Adama getting shot! Yes! I'm so glad I'm a spoiler-phobe on this show.

I do remember watching the original series as a kid and pretending my Barbie-doll was Starbuck before it was ok that Starbuck was a girl. When they announced that Starbuck had been cast as a female, I was so excited! I rather miss the cigars though.

Seriously one of the best twisted tales of the series. I mean, I get that "it" was never about finding Earth, but it was for the characters, which is what is so devastating about it.

If you're a shipper, what are your ships: Adama/Roslin is my OTP. I'm also fond of Ellen/Tigh, Chief/Cally, Chief/Boomer, Billy/Dee, Kara/Sam...and I can't believe I'm saying this after 4 years of apathy toward them as anything other than friends, but after their sweet moment in the last ep, I think I may have inched toward falling for Lee/Kara just a little bit. O_o
What pairing do you NOT like: Helo/Athena, Lee/Dee, and while it doesn't really offend my senses or anything, I wasn't quite feeling the Saul/Caprica love.
What shocked you the most (excluding season 4.5): Bill and Laura's kiss in Resurrection Ship II (No, really! Never thought this 'ship was going to sail anywhere at all!), the one year jump in LYBD2, Laura's cancer returning, Lee finally becoming likable in Revelations (*g*).

Where are you: California
First BSG episode you ever saw: I saw a sporadic amount here and there but didn't get fully onto the bandwagon until S3, but before it premiered I started with the miniseries then had a marathon of all first and second seasons to be prepared. So yeah.
Top three personal favorite episodes: Frak, that's gonna be lots of narrowing down. "33", "Downloaded" and "Blood on the Scales" perhaps? There are so many that I favor picking just three favs is nearly impossible. Let's just say any episode that involves the Cylons I'm good with. ;)
List your four favorite characters: Number Six (all models and versions of), Gaius Baltar, Kara Thrace, Admiral Adama.
Prior to season 4.5, what was your favorite story arc: The Cylon civil war. I found the entire concept of the line being drawn between them very interesting, and really it's been a long time coming for that moment to happen. Despite being machines they have such human attributes to themselves, and that's something I really love the show exploring.
If you're a shipper, what are your ships: Six/Gaius, Kara/Leoben, Kara/Sam, Kara/Lee (Kara/everyone in fact...), Helo/Athena, Tyrol/Boomer (despite what happened), Adama/Roslin, Six/Baltar/D'Anna (threesomes yay!) head!Six/head!Baltar....I'm pretty 'ship friendly on this show, tbh.
What pairing do you NOT like: I didn't necessarily hate it, but Tigh/Caprica-Six was kinda strange only because it wasn't clearly developed. It's more like a crackalicious kind of pairing, if you will. Hee. And Cavil/Boomer kind of irks me.
What shocked you the most (excluding season 4.5): Natalie's unfortunate death. I LOVED HER SO MUCH! Earth's destruction in the end of 4.0, leaving me with this wtfrak feeling but it was still good nonetheless. The incidents in "Pegasus" and "Resurrection Ship" will always shock me no matter how many times I watch it. Um, yeah. That's it for the moment.
Did you watch any prior incarnations of BSG (original series, 1980, etc): No. I've seen a few clips, but that's enough for me. Haha.
What are your other fandoms: Currently it's Supernatural, Dollhouse, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Gossip Girl, Bones and some Heroes although I'm not as fanatic about that show like I used to be.
What kind of LJ friend are you interested in: Anyone that has similar interests to talk about, who can stand my speculating thoughts and theories and tl;dr reviews about my said current fandoms and more, who isn't afraid of telling me their opinions while respecting mine (as I respect theirs).
What types of things can typically be found on your LJ: Episode reviews for currently aired fandoms, meta for said fandoms, theories and speculation posts, sometimes fanmixes, RL talk, current events, random squeeage for no apparent reason, cracky stuff and all that good shit really. *g*

Tigh/Caprica was strange, but Cavil/Bommer is just... ew...
Natalie was too short-lived. We were so pumped up for her because of the Last Supper pic, then to have her killed off so quickly. That sucked.
I'm watching Dollhouse but I'm not sure how enthused I am. It is getting a bit better with each episode, though. I also watch TSCC but don't get into the fandom too much. My flist has a few Supernatural fans so I just picked up season 1. I don't know when I'll get around to watching it, but I plan to eventually. I really don't need to be drawn into another fandom right now. LOL!

If you're a shipper, what are your ships: Adama/Roslin is my main ship, but I have about a half dozen other ones that I ship or crack!ship from time to time. Lately, I've been really into Tigh/Caprica.
What pairing do you NOT like: I'm open minded about pretty much any pairing, but if I had to choose... I find Starbuck/Anders and Lee/Dee a little dull.
What shocked you the most (excluding season 4.5): I think Adama being shot in first season and Saul killing Ellen on New Caprica are two moments that literally made my heart stop.
Did you watch any prior incarnations of BSG (original series, 1980, etc): I've seen some of the original and read a few of the books, but I'm not really a fan.
What are your other fandoms: I have about a million. :) You'll have to check my profile, but two of my all time favorites are Arrested Development and Slings & Arrows.

What shocked you the most (excluding season 4.5):
I'm a relative newcomer so I was overeager and spoiled for many things as i watched, but Boomer's reveal as a Cylon in the mini shocked and intrigued me enough to try the series and the rest is history ;D
Did you watch any prior incarnations of BSG (original series, 1980, etc):
Nope.

FARSCAPE, Whedonverse (FIREFLY, BtVS, Angel, Dr Horrible!, Dollhouse), Sarah Connor Chronicles, Star Trek (Voyager, DS9, TNG)

Anyone really! My journal is rather new *waves shyly*, so friends are very welcome! (especially BSG ones to squee with!)

First BSG episode you ever saw: I saw bits of Epiphanies but the first one I saw all the way through was the miniseries
Top three personal favorite episodes: Oh man. Ok, I'm cheating. 1) The New Caprica arc, 2)The Oath/Blood on the Scales, 3) The Hub (if only for the last scene)

If you're a shipper, what are your ships: A/R ALL THE WAY. Also a fan of Kara/Sam and Baltar/Caprica Six or Head Six. Both good.
What pairing do you NOT like: Not a fan of Caprica/Tigh and hate Callie so not a big fan of her and Tyrol
What shocked you the most (excluding season 4.5): Boomer shooting Adama and the year jump

I mentioned this above, too, but Cally/Tyrol was such a bad pairing. I think that might have been part of the point, but doesn't mean I had to like watching it. I think the Chief summed it up pretty well to Adama that night in the bar. Basically the world ended and you try to pick the best out of a lot of bad choices, even if they smell like cabbage. Ew.

What shocked you the most (excluding season 4.5): When Saul imagined shooting Adama! I flipppppped! Acctaully anytime adama gets shot...

Unfinished Business is a personal favorite mostly because my grandpa used to LOVE boxing. But I also think it's a good episode and I loved seeing snippets of life on New Caprica before the occupation. And Adama/Roslin getting high is hilarious!
Revelations... what an emotional roller coaster.
The scene where they actually leave New Caprica, you know the one with the Galactica jumping into atmo and saving the day like Big Frakkin Heroes... yea, I like that one, too. ;)

LOL! Some version of Leoben has been around since the beginning.
In the miniseries, Adama kills him by bashing his head in with a flashlight. Oh, that's right... we'll see that again next week. ;)

Where are you: North Carolina (when I abbreviate that, some of my BSG friends get confused...NC = New Caprica, right?)
First BSG episode you ever saw: Well, I saw it all in order on DVD. So I started with the miniseries. The first actual episode I saw was "33" though.
Top three personal favorite episodes: That's so hard...because this show has so many absolutely perfect episodes. Off the top of my head, I'd say Resurrection Ship (both parts, because I cheat), The Hub, and Blood on the Scales.
List your four favorite characters: All of them? Ok, I'll try to put my top ones in some order... Laura frakkin' Roslin, Bill Adama, Saul Tigh, Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, Six (all of them), Leoben, Chief Tyrol, Lee Adama, Gaius Baltar, Sharon "Athena" Agathon ... oh, the more I go on, the harder it is, but I truly love everyone in some way or another!
Prior to season 4.5, what was your favorite story arc: Pegasus arc probably...it was so intense. But New Caprica was amazing too. (I'm an indecisive person sometimes.)
If you're a shipper, what are your ships: Roslin/Adama = OTP forever and ever. Roslin/pretty much anyone = HOT. I kind of ship Kara/Leoben, though I know that won't happen. I don't hate any other Kara ships though. I like a lot of the pairings on BSG...but Roslin/Adama is my main one.
What pairing do you NOT like: I'm sort of meh about some pairings, but even those have been more appealing to me lately (Kara/Sam and Kara/Lee, for a couple examples). So I really can't say that I don't like any.
What shocked you the most (excluding season 4.5): The final four cylons revealed at the end of season three is tied with Caprica/Tigh.
Did you watch any prior incarnations of BSG (original series, 1980, etc): I've seen a few episodes of the original series, but only after I got into the reimagined series.
What are your other fandoms: Current ones are Lost, Life, Heroes, Dollhouse, House M.D. (though I'm behind on that), The Tudors, and True Blood. My top fandoms of all time (other than BSG) would be Buffyverse, Star Trek (particularly Voyager), and Harry Potter. I've also enjoyed Firefly, Tru Calling and Alias.
What kind of LJ friend are you interested in: Anyone who likes to discuss fandom with friends, imaginative types who either create or appreciate fan works like fiction or videos or graphics, people who just like to squee over fandom and their favorite ships/moments/characters...because let's face it, squeeing and flailing is fun!
